Imigran can cure migraines by switching the changes in the brain that cause migraines.
Imigran is prescribed for acute treatment of migraine.
The dose of Imigran should not be exceeded to the recommended one and it should be given as soon as possible to prevent an oncoming migraine.
If the first dose was effective, but symptoms reappear, a second dose may be administered after two hours, but must not exceed 300mg within a 24 hour period.
If there is no alleviation of symptoms from the first dose, a second dose should not be given.
